Save Leda

We had every intention of filling our Market Street fountain and welcoming Leda back for the season. However, as an antique, the fountain basin had other ideas—and age temporarily won-and we filled it with ping pong balls instead.

That’s not going to stop us. As proud stewards of this vital piece of public art and our nonprofit center, we are pivoting. A much-needed, comprehensive restoration is officially scheduled for October 2026, ensuring Leda is completely revitalized and ready for a grand return in 2027!

We’re So Close to Our Goal

Thanks to incredible community support and major grant funding, the finish line is in sight. This $30,000 preservation project will not only repair and treat the basin and the statue, but will also stabilize the base to minimize future wear and tear.
