As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we offer our services as a fiscal sponsor to emerging and established charitable organizations and community-based projects. Fiscal sponsorship is a way for us to support organizations as they grow and is an important way that your organization can establish itself. Whether you represent an organization yet to receive tax-exempt status or are not interested in pursuing that option, we would be happy to talk with you about the possibility of fiscal sponsorship for your project.
As a sponsor, we follow best practice principles established by the National Network of Fiscal Sponsors.
As the beneficiary of our sponsorship, you will be able to solicit grants and receive tax-exempt contributions but you will also be able to utilize our professional expertise as a well-established nonprofit to develop best practice accounting and administrative standards. Our staff can offer technical assistance in the areas of accounting, publicity and marketing and capacity building. We also host a professional development series each year with session topics including: board development, financial management, fundraising and event planning.
